10-Day South Island Experience
- Day 1
- Depart Christchurch and drive down to Dunedin. Some great stops along the
way include the town of Oamaru with its Victorian architecture or stop
at Moeraki and see the famous Moeraki Boulders. Night in Dunedin.
Moeraki Boulders - Day 2
- Play golf at Chisholm Park Golf Club, one of the best true links courses in New Zealand. Afterwards we suggest heading down the peninsula to see the world famous Royal Albatross colony. Night in Dunedin.
- Day 3
- Enjoy the character–filled city of Dunedin. We suggest you take a ride on
the Taieri Gorge Railway, visit the Cadbury Chocolate Factory, tour Larnach
Castle or take a Speight′s Ale House tour. There is a lot to see and do
in Dunedin or we can also help you sneak in another round of golf!
Night in Dunedin.
Larnach Castle - Day 4
- Depart Dunedin and drive through central Otago to Queenstown. Visit the historical gold mining towns of Alexandra and Clyde along the way or make a stop at one of the many wineries between Cromwell and Queenstown. Night in Queenstown.
- Day 5
- Enjoy your day in Queenstown. Play golf at the Queenstown Golf Club and enjoy
the stunning local scenery. Then take in some the great attractions for
which New Zealand′s adventure capital is famous. Night in Queenstown.
Queenstown Golf Club - Day 6
- Today is yours to enjoy at leisure. Milford Sound, Earnslaw Cruise, Shotover Jet or play golf at Millbrook. All are great choices for a memorable day! Night in Queenstown.
- Day 7
- Depart Queenstown and head to the Millbrook Resort. Enjoy your round of
golf on the Sir Bob Charles designed course before driving over the
Crown Range to Wanaka. Night in Wanaka.
Lake Hayes - Day 8
- Wake up looking over Lake Wanaka and the majestic mountains that surround it which are famous for their winter ski fields. Today you will enjoy a round of golf at the Wanaka Golf Club. Night in Wanaka.
- Day 9
- Depart Wanaka and take a scenic drive through the McKenzie high country
to Methven. Some great areas to see along the way including a stop at
Mt. Cook National Park. Stay the night at Terrace Downs Resort.
Lake Wanaka - Day 10
- Play an early round at the Terrace Downs Golf Course. A great location for a fabulous golf course. After golf and lunch drive across the Canterbury Plains returning to Christchurch.
